Maybe it will sell something now I don't even think PS3 people wanted it really. From what I have seen it was not my cup of tea. I think 3rd party devs should be multi-platform anyways so there you go folks.
Many people really do pay attention to those awards on the cover. I have overheard more than a few people state "with that many awards it has to be good". A lot of company's us awards to draw people in like AE, Microsoft, and Bethesda. The US box art seems to be more geared to the intellectual side of gamers. It is very different that is for sure and I really like it.
If they can bring back the magic they had with Halo 1 they are on the right track. Halo 2/3/ODST were a disappointment to me. Halo 1 was just plain brilliant!
You are right Sony did state that both of those were exclusive to the Playstation. I guess is Microsoft can do it so can Sony. Funny thing is you will have the same thing said back at PS3 people later when they release. It doesn't matter what you say to the fanboys on either side they will always just be bullheaded kids.
They do have a really good line up for 2010 I have to admit. They have come along ways since they screwed the pooch. Although there are others that could easily take that from them in 2010. It basically depends on how good these games turn out to be.
I agree 100% what they did was just stupid. I really did enjoy a lot of the games they made.
ULTIMATE_REVENGE - Like any of your mindless dribble has anything to do with box art.. I swear you people are just like roaches you can't kill them the proof is in Fallout 3.
On topic I am looking forward to the game something new is always welcome. The box art doesn't look to bad itself.
I don't see how saying Bayonetta pwns everything or best game ever has anything to do with the person being an 360 fanboy... That could just be a really immature person 8)
Last time I checked that is the point of a demo to a game..... A demo is put out so you may see what impression it gives you before you buy it. Some comments on here are pretty stupid, but yours is not much better. It is up to the developer to make a close representation of what the final product will be. If it falls short for some people it is just there opinion. Live with it and move on.
I guess expectations were so low that it just had to seem great when they played it. When I played the demo although it was enjoyable. I see no reason to pay $60 for it if anything would be a rental from gamefly.
They should be junk punched in their man business!!! To even say such a thing stupid.
You have to be smoking something.... It is an RPG the main part of RPG's is the story and that never changes....
Truly sad once you think about it. I would guess a lot will stop playing now due to it. It is crazy how many people only play online just so they can say they are ranked in a game. This was improper planning on IW end. You always have to think about hackers when making any kind of software. If you make it easy of course hackers will jump right on it just to make people mad lol.
What you have to understand with technology you are always going to have a certain % of defects. Using a survey as fact is very stupid, and only using 500 is extremely stupid. For those claiming PS3 fanboys wouldn't believe it. Let me ask you this if the situation was reversed would you? Heck no you wouldn't you would be doing that same thing they are calling out a bs article.
There are tons of games that could be announced, but I would not expect to see anything big. I think what they will announce is pretty basic titles. They usually save the huge stuff for E3, TGS, or GDC. Just so you know Heavenly Sword 2 is possible my pick for developer would be Sony: Santa Monica.
It is all a matter of opinion really. I enjoyed Killzone 2 a lot more than I enjoyed MW2. MW2 I stopped playing after a few days. Killzone 2 on the other hand I still play at least once a week with friends. There is not anything immersive or memorable about MW2 it is the same old thing that is in most FPS these days. Like I said it is just opinion 8)
I see what you are trying to say. I do disagree with you about PC having to upgraded so often. I have not upgraded my PC in 4 years and can still play every new game that comes out at equal or better quality than a console. Exclusives do matter to people just buying a system it is what draws people to that system in the first place.
What the heck is this??? What on earth does this have to do with gaming news???
You comment really doesn't belong here. This article is about people claiming multiplatform games as exclusive just because they are not on the PS3, but also appear on the PC. No disrespect intended when I disagree with somebody I reply to their remark in question. What you state is just you opinion and that is cool. I loved all 3 games you mentioned btw each had its own special qualities that made me like them. The same goes with the few 360 games I like. Each game is not for everybody.
I played Guild Wars more than I played WoW. I never fell into the hype of WoW I always thought it wasn't that great of MMO. I did however like how Guild Wars was done. It just made it easier to drop in and out of the game when I had little time to play. With games like WoW and Everquest they made it very difficult to play when you were strapped for time. I am hoping Guild Wars 2 keeps that so I can enjoy it.
