Not really needed if you already have the Red Death. Ever since the Pulse Rifle buff and the Auto Rifle debuff the Red Death is clearly the better exotic for PVP as well as PVE.
Absolutely. Raids and Nightfall strikes are still a blast!
Waiting for your friends to log on to complete Raids or a Nightfall can definitely be hassle at times so I totally get the comments. I think a solution would be for Bungie to have some sort of recruitment system in the game. Players can signup for Raids or Nightfalls by answering a classified ad that team leaders could post. Players could also recruit their own teams by putting up their own classified ad. Team leaders could put minimum settings for the team, as far as level goes and minimum...
Only if you have more than one character leveled up that can finish the weekly strikes. Now that they have matchmaking on weekly strikes, it definitely helps lower level characters but it's still tough if you're below level 30. Plus if you get an exotic weapon every week and some heavy synths, you're not going to have too many strange coins left.
The players that Xur is not relevant for are players who have all 3 characters maxed out with every exotic in the game leveled up. If the author of this article is in that elite league of players then so be it. Most of us haven't gotten there... yet ;)
I absolutely loved the Vita when it came out. I scooped up Uncharted Golden Abyss and was glued to the device for the weekend. Unfortunately I haven't touched it since. There just hasn't been any other title that has caught my attention.
I'd totally buy it but I doubt it will ever happen. I think we have a better chance of a sequel happening than a remake.
Interesting. I've just never seen any Iron gear with light level 36. I'm almost to 32 myself. Just need some more radiant shards. I may look into trying the Iron Banner route than if this is true.
You should check out the forums on Bungie.net and see about joining one of the clans. They're are plenty of clans out there that are pretty welcoming as well as message boards where members are constantly looking to team up for Raids and nightfall strikes. I don't see them implementing matchmaking any time soon. The Raids are intentionally hard but when you have a team that communicates you'd be surprised how easy they can be.
The translation is incorrect. It's implying that Iron Banner Armor has enough light to level your character to 32. That's not true. Only Raidient Armor and Exotic Armor can level your character to 32 for now.
Only got one characters to 31 so far. That means I at least got 2 more to build. Don't see myself stopping before House of Wolves come out :)
If it doesn't have Radient Materials or at the very least Ascendent Energy then I'll pass. I'm seriously over all the Ascendant Shards that I haven't used in weeks.
I'm still pretty happy with the game. Got only one character at level 31 though so I still have a waaays to go.
No offense, but you should be waaaaaaay past level 28 with 200 hours in. Unless you didn't get the DLC or something. It's the grind from 31 to 32 that is the biggest obstacle.
The game is like CRACK! I was initially underwhelmed and pissed off as well but now I can't stop playing. Bungie are a bunch of twisted evil geniuses, lol.
I concur. The article is short, to the point and quite accurate.
The score is a lil harsh maybe a 6.5 would be more better but I definitely agree with the reviewers remarks. The game is terribly unbalanced and the matchmaker in the multiplayer is still crap. Leveling up is excruciatingly painful and tedious and makes the game ridiculously repetitive. The reused level design is again a big let down.
Totally agree with this article. There are so many great games that have completely nonexistent multiplayer modes. You shouldn't be shit out of luck because a game's multi-player servers are no longer running.
The story is false. The Xbox One didn't overtake the PS4. The PS4 "Day One" Edition is sold out! The Xbox One "Day One" edition hasn't sold out yet so "currently" it's the number one item. Amazon's best seller lists show trends, not totals. That should be pretty clear.
No, Red Death is better. Bungie really nerfed the Suros with the last update. I would say that even the Hard Light is better than Suros now because of it's better stability perks and faster fire rate.
