Haha yeah it's ludicrous. ME2 is still one of the best games on the X360, dismissing it as leftovers is just insulting.
More people get to play the game, it's a good thing. But if they water down the effect of ME1 on ME3 then I'll feel pretty betrayed

You know, I'm wondering if economically it would make sense to release Mass Effect 1 for free. How many people are gonna buy it now? Almost none. But if people play it for free and want to see the story then they might buy ME2. AND the people who were scared off ME2, because they thought they'd miss the story, would get to play the first for free which would probably result in a sale.

Well it looks freakin amazing. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the removed focus on the cars and the characters. The old Twisted Metal games all had drivers with tortured pasts and their cars were unique to them. Taking the drivers out of the cars is definitely something new (could work well) but it means everyone could end up driving the same car... there should be all different cars/trucks/bikes and the characters did that.
Plus I don't like the Dark Knight style c...

I guess they'll use the same format as the games for the movies, since ME1 and ME2 are already perfectly split. There's a problem with this concept though.
If Hollywood try and do a movie 'inspired' by Mass Effect and not just port Mass Effect, it will be shit

I think the Game guy did a great job, although he should have defended himself a bit more from the jeers of the crowd using The Byron Report. The Byron Report was commissioned by the government and it cleared us on the games-violence link. This guy is well articulated but you don't get anywhere in an argument being the nice guy, he should have stood up for himself a bit more (especially with an audience and 2 assholes on him). Vagrant Story is waaaaaay too low. One of only 4-5 games that Famitsu has given 40/40 (Correct me if I'm wrong) and it's not even in the top 100. It's a classic, an unsung classic, that never got the recognition it deserved.
And yeah, Deus Ex at 48 is just stupid.
If only one game could get a sequel for the rest of eternity, it should be this one
While I agree that the amount of Guitar Hero games is just absolutely ridiculous, I do think this article sucks balls. DJ Hero is different to Guitar Hero.. this is an example of Activision actually trying something new! It's not this that needs to fail, it's the 6th installment of Guitar Hero that needs to die a quick death.
The bad things about Guitar Hero games are the negligible updates to features and the full price tag. Activision just need to release 'Guitar Hero Final' ...

What's the watch with friends thing all about? I could see it being a great feature if only one person paid for the movie, but if you all pay it's a ridiculous feature which seems to take up a third of your viewing space
