This was a smart move by them.
I think it is actually quite refreshing to see that game developers are trying to think of news way to interact with games and the players. Even more so to a degree which you will not realises 100% that you are effecting the game play in some way, swearing out of fear, excitement etc.
Yeah some people might think it is a useless mechanic and a waste of time but this is how developers improve and evolve games by trying out new techniques.

The game is nice to play and is fun to try and get a perfect play through with out being seen etc. Not so fun when you have to kill an additional person and you lose score etc.
I agree that the reply value is high with the CONTRACTS mode and also being able to go back and kill targets in a different way from the first time you played it.
It probably would of won some stuff if it was in the awards this year. It is like iamsuperman said they missed the cut off point so could not be entered this year. Shame really

The game should be an interesting take on Devil May Cry. I feel like a lot of people might not like the really young Dante but who knows.
These are pretty damn amazing makes me want to get a Wii U to have a go at some of the features.
I have to agree with GameTimeUK. It was a out of this world game for its time but now it does not stand up so well. The game story itself is great but the graphics and gameplay are now a little outdated, especially if you compare it to the final fantasy's that are out now. Something like X has aged better but that is a given because of the console difference.

I am looking forward to getting this console to try out ZombiU some more and a couple other games.
It is a very thin line what they are going to attempt I think.
There was gossip going around that Microsoft wanted all the next gen consoles to be Digital Download only like Steam. Pushing the other companies to follow suit and you can see that would just end badly.
This seems to be their own way of being able to do that. Simple fact until every house is connected to at least 100MB disks will still be around.

No power kind of means no computer which means no trailers which are made digitally.
Yeah they have other offices but not every office they have works on the trailer just like not all the offices work on just that one game.

Resident Evil 6 is far from a survival horror now which is a shame, it could be such a great game.

I like the idea of the death mechanic but dislike the fact you don't really lose anything other than a bit of time.
If you can go back an collect all your gear, where is the fear in dying?
Good luck to PS3 users, no doubt when they bring it out there will be unknown bugs, which is a shame. Spoils the experience fro PS3 users.
The Vita is an outstanding console it has just lacked the support it needs from Sony and Games Companies to make the console really show what it is made of.
Persona 4 Golden is a good example of when a games companies uses the console correctly.
