having played the hardcore mode it wasnt all that i expected.
No spotting at all makes co ordinated attacks a bit harder. At least the UAV or squad leader should still be able to spot
no crosshairs on any gun. Makes stationary turrets, shotguns and the tracer pistiol impossible to aim.
on the plus side you feel like you can actually kill some one with an aussault rifle and snipers are a 1 hit kill

Whats sad is that most games on Australian steam dont have a jacked up price. Only 2k, Activision and Sega games it seems.
Mass effect 2 on the Aussie steam store is $50 US which converts to $56 AU. which is about half the price of a store copy if you went into an Australian EB games. Since i primarlily game on PC now Steam most of the time is a godsend because games can be gotten from 1/2 to a 1/3 as much as a retail copy some of the time

Fix the jaggys and give us some likeable characters and ill be on board. Also the weak combat needs an overhaul. 6 shocks to kill a grunt gets old fast when you have to kill 30+ at once
Flying round the city with static thrusters was fun but the game had a lot of flaws. Hope they address them in the sequel

@ those who argue prone is for campers.
In the rush mode one side HAS to defend? what some call camping others call defense. If you cant take cover half the time because you cant go prone, thats just plain bad game design.
I am worried this is due to console player concerns because all previous non bad company BF games had prone. At the very least the PC version of BC2 should have prone.
Im sorry infamous fans but i had to give up by the 3rd island. the combat in that game is down right annoying. 5 shocks to kill a regular grunt is just BS and they can shoot you accurately from a mile away, even when out of range of the zoom shock!
Trish was such a cow that i was glad when you get the option to kill her off and zeke who is sposed to be your friend was so annoying i smiled when he betrayed you. If anything i might go back to it just to kill of zeke too.

Both psn and live have the problem of not being able to pay the exact amount which is my gripe with them. if i want to buy a $5 game i have to give PSN $10 for it.
