To anyone hating on it for feeling too much like ICO/SotC/TLG, remember - imitation is the greatest form of flattery, much like how Darksiders was a great game that complimented TLOZ, GOW and DMC. The game looks like its going to be great.

Seriously, Move/Wiimote/Natal can all co-exist; control schemes should not be exclusive to one platform. You see, if there were, these things, much like yourselves, called PATENT trolls would whore it up and hold back technology for everyone.

As far as being innovative with motion control? Sure, they laid some ground work - but like everything else, they half-assed it and left major needs for improvement. Sounds to me that this guy is butt hurt that SONY's controller can do everything the Wiimote can do, only better AND in HD.

But seriously, this problem sucks. I almost platinumed heavy rain, I sat down last night to finish the job and this happened. Hopefully everyone gets their lost trophies back.
All the hype around Natal is really misplaced; there hasn't been any legit footage of it released using a real game. At least when Sony showed the wand, they showed what it could actually do. Just for the record, I hope both of them fail at the motion tech business - 1) it's blatantly trying to copy the success of the Nintendo Wii and 2) I like hardcore games w/ controller - not some goofy looking action that mimics real life.
and shipped to retailers doesn't count as sold to customers. Hard to say if the 360 ever really outsells the PS3 when you count a product sold as sitting on the shelf.
but to me, it does on so many levels - gameplay, story telling (let's just say there is one sequence that is nothing short of brilliant) and emotional connection to the character(s). The multiplayer is pretty good as well - looking forward to DLC.
MS's choice to misguide gamers with hype just shows that Dyer is telling the truth. Natal has been nothing more than fancy words, doctored videos and mini-games.
At least Sony showed what theirs could ACTUALLY do as opposed to MS's smoke and mirrors approach.

These companies used to be top of the industry, but now when they're not pumping out wii games for a dime a dozen, they're taking a dump on the HD console owners- stop cutting content out to charge for dlc, stop making contradictory statements, stop nickel and diming us!
