Bought a 360 on launch day because i couldn't wait for the ps3 to get here. I think this is the sole reason for alot of 360 within its first year. Many people such as myself just couln't wait and wanted to know what the fuss was about the next-gen gaming experience.
But within the first 6 months i soled my 360 aqlong with 5 games and put a preorder for the ps3. Havn't turned back since. To be hornest i think the ps3 lauch games where much more fun and versitile, with the excep...
I've said it and i will say it again. The 360 is a two game console(gears and halo for the not so inteligent). How can a company claim they have a games console when all they do is fork out large piles of money just to advertise two games.
See i live in Sydney Aus and all 360 ads are just gears. What about the other so called AAA games? Guess Micro$haft has proven that you can ride the sales just of two not so stella franchises.

Oh and another quick thing, see we dont have any worthwhile games for next year so please release it during febuary so we can counter the release of killzone 2 which looks to be a GOTY contender for the ps3

This is a hammaring not that 1000 extra cosoles the 360 had when it gained a little spike. Fact is the ps3 just needs the games the japanese want and BOOM there goes the competition.
When the 360 manages to get 3 games in top ten and hold that position for a second week, then xbox owners can come and have a proper converstion in here lol.
