people call it a spinoff to try to justify how bad it is, but lets face it. It has one of the main characters from the metal gear solid series (The main character from metal gear solid 2).. and it is butchering his plot and story which was supposed to be finished in mgs4.
Plus its making him do things that are just impossible.. i dont care how strong you are!!! you cannot pick up a metal gear ray and throw it... you have not enough mass in your own body to pivot that kind of ...
its not because it isnt stealth. Its because they butchered the plot line and are doing things that are physically impossible. This trailer is like an april fools joke... except its not really a joke.
That actually was the worst part of mgs4... mgs4 ended the series nicely, but was also the corniest game in the metal gear solid series... Its down hill from here and they need to go ahead and let it rest in peice. Mgs3 was the best... mgs2 was awesome... original mgs also awesome... mgs4 was mediocre gameplay... with a story that i gotta say was half stupid, but half excellent.. so i forgive it to a point. Did not have the same metal gear feeling though.

It could have been hack and slash and all that, but cmon man... they are doing stuff that just is not possible... i dont care how strong you are.. you can not get that kind of leverage to pick up a metal gear ray and throw it... unless MAGIC is enovlved lol.. magic can explain anything cause it doesnt exist... but this here is just stupid.

The batman arkyum city is awesome on the pc. Way more detailed textures, effects, and resolution... even if your using dx9... I have an old gpu and i ran arkyum city maxed out high resolution in dx 9 with physx set to low... which is already atop the console version besides the graphics.. consoles dont have physx. The only I was disappointed with was the ending lol. But other then that one of the best games ever made.
Um ... bullcrap. I have a gtx 260 and i run batman arkhum city on max settings with physx enabled. Physx isnt on max , but its enabled and a graphics card as old as mine does a PHENOMINAL JOB.
Maybe people are complaining cause they have dx11 active teselation runing on their 500 series cards... and the phsyx at the same time. I would say the tessellation is the real frame rate killer.

when he means dual gpu are faster and cheaper he doesnt mean 2 580s are less expensive then 1 580... he mans 2 gtx 560s are both faster and cheaper then a single 580.
its called good marketing... besides... what do u care. Does it really make a different that they reused a building model here... or a dumpster model there? I understand they are trying to save money to put out another game cheaper... in what way does that actually hurt u though? If people still think its a good game then more power to em.

Your saying they can swap out the textures into the gpu when needed and the gpu uses 256 mb of ram... meaning... if more then 256 mb of ram is needed for what is on screen at the current moment.... then they are stuck and need to lower the resolution of the textures... swapping out the textures only works when you turn the camera and see more stuff that wasnt previously there. Not when everything is on the screen at the same time.
