I think your looking to deep into it. The changes are there cause the graphics are better. Simple as that.. they made everyone look more real.
i tried both just cause games... instantly hated them. More distance does not equal better.

Your absolutely right.. because 150fps at 1920x1080 with full maxed out graphics settings isnt enough for the gtx 980. I have that card and love it... why overclock it? So it can die in a year or 2?
Not really.. its the original resident evil. Its what made the series. Todays RE games are just trash.. people crave the original formula.
Polys are very cheap with modern day graphics cards. And i mean modern day for consoles. Its draw calls that hurt performance and thats all cpu based. At the end of the day... most engines take the same performance hit from rendering a 20 poly model to a 1500 poly model as well.

Going to have to agree with you. Working with nurbs is a nightmare and there is no benefit... espeacially since modern day graphics cards can get away with rediculous levels of polygons compared to last gen. Even tesselation.
I remember my former instructor in school tried to tell us nurbs were the future. Then the film industry stoped using nurbs and he ended up getting fired from what i hear because he refused to stop focusing on nurbs. Can do so m...
Actually i think snakes revenge was the one that konami tried to make without kojima.. and then kojima came back and made metal gear 2 solid snake. Made it so snakes revenge didnt exist in the story. Non canon.
In point of fact.. kojima had nothing to do with the twin snakes remake. It was outsourced to another company called silicon knights... think it was the same company that epic games counter sued lol... Wonder if they are even still in buisness.

VR is more then a game... its like entering a new environment where your no longer in the living room.. where as... with on a tv or monitor.. your still in your livingroom watching a screen. In Vr your actually turning your head and looking up at the ceiling.. and out the window of a virtual world. Position and rotation is just so sick.
