guess if I get a Wii I'll know what to pick up for it.
From what reviewers on Joystiq are saying, if you have glasses with reflective rims, Kinect will throw a fit trying to recognize your face. I wish they would have provided a photo of his glasses so we could see what brought it to it's knees. I kinda need my glasses to see, so this could be a pretty bad deal-breaker
Besides not really having any games I really wanted to play, the hardware has a horrible track record. By the time they got all the kinks worked out, I had already invested too much in my PS3 to bother getting an xbox. Maybe if there was a killer app and it was down to $150 I'd consider it, but for now PS3 does pretty much everything I need on the gaming front.
Although I'm sure it'll be a game of cat and mouse from here on out.
I love Gears, but I'll just go over to my friend's place to play that. I really wish xbox had some games that I REALLY want to play enough to compel me to buy one, but for now my PS3 has everything I need and it's exclusives look far more enticing to me.
but man that voice…it's like electro Poochie!
If this gives Microsoft "the edge", then it's a pretty dull one. at&t already provides horrible phone service, why should I have them mucking up my TV and internet as well?
If they want a ps3 for "all that fun open source stuff" let them have it, but if they actually want to buy a play games on it, they ought consider buying a 2nd unmodded PS3. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
You "FAIL" at writing headlines. I'm not clicking on the link…your article needs to be a little bit more descriptive than "FAIL". How does this even get on the front page?
Newflash, games "FAIL" all the time, they're called bugs/glitches. Hell I made the original version of Motorstorm freeze on a Sony demo kiosk, big deal. If it only happens 1/99 times, I'll live with it.
Was in the beta and couldn't stand it. Felt like it was trying to be both Battlefield and MW at the same time and failing at both. Nothing drove me nuts more than that split second freeze of the game right before you died, I sure hope they got rid of that.
I'll give them demo another chance, hopefully they fixed a lot.
Hope to see more advertising for it as the holiday season ramps up.
Loved the online co-op in R2, hope they bring back R1's campaign co-op too!
Thank god this game at least has a demo. If it's good (and I'm assuming it is) it'll at least expose a lot of people to the game who might not have liked or notice the series before.
I'm probably not even halfway through Ventus' story yet, so this is pretty useful. Decided to start over again on Proud since getting the good ending is way to A.D.D on normal.
I'm thinking this game will be one of those end of console hurrahs, one of the PS3's last great games. I'm glad they're not putting it off for the next-gen, or we'd have to wait even longer.
I played builds of both the 360 and PS3 versions at the comic con and really couldn't make out any differences between the two.
I wouldn't call it show stopping, but it's at least a tasteful slick little design.
Only way I'd buy one of those is if one of the girls was included!
All this makes me wonder if SONY will go proprietary on their connectors for their next iteration of the Playstation. I always liked the fact that they used open standards like USB and that you could just plug any USB device into it and it worked fine.
haha, same here, loving the Terminator tribute there.
