I'm sure both the PS4 and Xbox One sold well this Black Friday. This was the first major Black Friday the UK has seen (last year there was a Black Friday but nowhere near this extent http://m.youtube.com/watch?... ) and there were some pretty amazing bargains for both.
This game will sell a ton on the Xbox One. When it doesn't sell as well on PS4 there's gonna be sh*t going down with the N4G fanboys so be prepared!
I mean Bloodborne releases the month before so go figure!
As much as I loved TloU on PS3 I wouldn't buy it again for my PS4. There are a lot of other games coming out that I've not played that I'd rather put the money towards.
A bit hypocritical on my part as I purchased FFX HD earlier in the year, but that's under different circumstances. I didn't have a copy of the original game or the console to play it on, plus it released years ago, not last year.

Well its your decision at the end of the day, but PS Experience is just one event. If nothing there tickles your fancy what's not to say something will get shown that you like the look of at next years E3 / Gamescom? Get Christmas and New Year out the way and it will fly by, I just think it's worth hanging on before making any hasty decisions,that's all.

I wonder how that will look like this time next year once the JRPG's start rolling in? With Final Fantasy Type-0 HD coming in March with the FFXV demo and Persona 5 coming later in the year. Bloodborne,though not a JRPG is coming in March as well. Jump Festa is next month too so who knows what Japanese devs have been working on.
Great sales everywhere else though :)
For me out of that list, Snow and Jungle Rumble stand out.
Snow will fill the void until EA hurries up and makes a new SSX, and the art style of Jungle Rumble looks very much like patapon! That game was a lot of fun on PSP and I'm surprised we've not seen it on Vita, so hopefully Jungle Rumble will take inspiration from that.
Sounds great. I'm looking forward to seeing more of The Order at the PS Experience. So many people are putting the game down without giving it the time of day, so this really could be the chance for the game to shine. I'll personally be keeping my pre order in place, it will be my first PS4 exclusive and I'm looking forward to seeing what this thing can do ;p
If you're referring to Rise of the Tomb Raider, the sequel to the reboot, then it's a timed Xbox exclusive. It will release first on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2015 and then release on PlayStaion at a later date.
Maybe they'll release an Assassin's Creed Unity Remaster next year xD
In all honesty though Unity is the first AC game I've played since the 1st and so far I'm not really impressed. I was really looking forward to playing it but now I have to force myself to play it. I find the game very frustrating!
Andrew House makes no mention of a digital future, he just speaks of how game distribution has changed over the years. You don't just have retail now, you've got digital. You've got PSN only titles. Indie titles. Free to play games. As long as we keep getting AAA content alongside all the others then that's great. Something tells me Sony are underestimating on purpose here to say "we beat target!" They know they're on track to do well :)
I bought a PS4 in September and I've not regret it. Sure all the games I own for it are cross gen, but Diablo III was new to me and I enjoyed playing it a lot. I also had FFXIV on PS3 but upgraded to PS4 and there is a big difference and the game looks much better and runs so much more smoothly on PS4. I'm getting GTA V for Christmas and playing it on PS4 will be my first time playing it at all, so I look forward to that. But I see your point in not seeing the point in upgrading wh...
Don't know why you're getting disagrees. This is the first whole year of the PS4 and Xbox One, things will surely only get better as developers get used to the hardware throughout each of their life cycles.
It's subjective at the end of the day. One mans must have is another mans bargain bin purchase xD
I'd love to have the talent to create something like the FFVII "remake" that there have been videos of. Look forward to playing those levels (and the others, of course!) when I get the game :)
The battery life is pretty poor compared to the DualShock 3. It's a shame because the overall feel and design is much more comfortable than previous PlayStation controllers. I bought a second controller when I got mine, so when one is charging I'll just use the other one.
