I can't say I share the same enthusiasm for FFXII as you do but still, I'll be buying it. I got close to completing it on PS2 but never got around to finishing it off, so I'd like to give it another go. I did quite like the battle system, even though I was terrible at setting the right gambits. Hopefully this time through I'll do a better job!
The game looks amazing and the TGS trailer was soooo good. I can't wait! I'm sure the wait will be worth it :) Sure the game will have it's haters, but what FF game doesn't?
I'm not keen on the first person genre but after playing the first demo I think I'll be making an exception for this! I updated the demo tonight but I haven't had the chance to play it yet, but I'll give it a go tomorrow.
Also, that Baker family...wow, they're a crazy bunch!
Ratings makes sense for Resident Evil and Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, but what is the case for a game like "Thumper" not being on the EU demo list?
I've never owned a Forza game because this is the first gen that I've had an Xbox console. I'm not interested in the normal Forza series because it's more of a sim, but I've pre-ordered Forza Horizon 3 because of it's more balanced arcade style. I'm really looking forward to it.
I landed in the "grey area" because I have a PS4, don't have a 4KTV but will be getting a PSVR.
I stopped playing at that part of the game. I was like "where do I goooo". Then I lost my game and save file so I never did find out how the game ends.
I'm liking the magic crafting in this game, like how you can make a fire and thunder spell that also cures you at the same time.
I won't be getting a PS4 Pro because I'm quite happy with my current PS4. However I will be getting PSVR, because it's a completely new experience that I'm looking forward to trying out. I'm not getting it this year, but I will get it alongside Resident Evil VII. It supposedly comes out in January but I've got a feeling it will be delayed. Whenever it comes out, I will get both.
You're a pretty advanced PS4! Good communication skills :p
I can't comment on the 4K because I watched this on my phone, and I don't have any 4K devices. Even so, it's beautiful, so I can only imagine what it would look like!
Yeah, I only got my Xbox One last year and I have no plans on upgrading that. I only really purchased it to play Rise of the Tomb Raider because I was too impatient to wait for the PS4 release, and Quantum Break. Think I'll be giving Forza Horizon 3 a blast at the end of this month though!
For me personally I have no need for the Pro right now. I *might* get one in the future, but as it is my original PS4 is just fine. I don't have a HDR / 4KTV and I know they said there will be benefits on a 1080p TV but I don't see the point in upgrading the console when I don't have the full set of goods. Also when I do get a new TV (not anytime soon) I'll see how the HDR stacks up on my original PS4.
Yep, I don't have a HDR enabled TV but when I do get one at least I'll know that my console supports it.
I just watched it and I enjoyed it. Of course there are some plot holes but I'm sure they will be detailed in the game. This was just a prequel to lead in to events of the game after all, not a standalone experience.
Yep, someone didn't get the delay memo.
I never owned Rollcage but I played the hell out of the demo as well!
It's a spiritual successor :)
FFXV looks like it's shaping up well. It's not Tabata's fault that he took over development of a game that was practically vapourware for years. At least wait until the game is out and we've all played it before writing him off.
I don't think it's going to be that big. Tabata was quite careful with his words, in the sense that he couldn't give a direct answer in terms of how big the map was. He said it was "different" to other games, and that because you travel by car they didn't need to make it large scale. For example I don't think they'd want you to watch Ignis driving the car for a whole hour to get to the next destination. It'll be interesting to see how they handle it.
