I just read this review, and they mention more good points than bad, so I'm surprised they didn't give it at least a 4/5.
I forgot about this trademark. Maybe the "game" / concept for the game still exist, but they decided to let the trademark lapse because it's no longer in the XIII branch of games, but it could still be party of the Fabula Nova Crytallis mythology, just like Type-0.
I was hopeful too. I was so excited for FFXIV when it was first announced!
I'm also looking forward to this. In the past I have watched people play through the Tomb Raider franchise, but I've never played it for myself properly (just helping out on bits when people got stuck). I'm definitely going to give this game a shot.
I can't wait :P May 20th (14 Days Left for EU!)
I don't play online much anyway, so the downtime hasn't really affected me (obviously the data breach is worrying as I had a debit card linked to my account).
But I've carried on replaying FFXIII and God of War 2, just like I was doing when the network was online. Yesterday I bought Portal 2, so I've been enjoying playing the single player of that. This is a game that I do want to try online, but I will wait to complete the single player first.
Was this Freedom Unite in the UK, or is that a different game? Either way I missed out on this, but I hear it's coming to the NGP, so I will buy it then.
Yep, but this article clearly states that this is the PS3 chart.
I'm looking forward to the NGP, but not to the price! D:
I don't think that's the case. I just think Sony don't want to fall too far behind in the tablet area. A lot of companies are doing it, so Sony may as well jump on the bandwagon. It doesn't mean that a PS4 is on the way, they just want to secure market share in other areas.
It looks...awkward?
Totally agree Kain. I've never been interested in Tablets, so this announcement doesn't excite me. The NGP on the other hand...can't wait to get my hands on it!
Yea, this game is looking amazing! I have a PSP but I haven't bought a game for ages! Been waiting for Type-0 for so long, and I can't wait to play it.
Her house is shown during one of the "Thirteen Days" cutscenes, isn't it? When it's Lightnings birthday. Of course it's not a a playable area, but that doesn't really matter IMO.
I read in another article that every Nintendo console has had a "Project Name". Project Dolphin, Project Reality, Project Revolution etc. Simple codenames.
It's the interface that you get through the game. You can bring it up by pressing select (if the details that I've read previously are correct).
This would have been a great game if it were a remake of the PS1 Original. Ape Escape was a great showcase for the DualShock controller (I remember spinning that net round and round with the right stick lol) and it could have done wonders for showing off Move, showing just how far PlayStation has come as a brand.
Talentless? Leona has an amazing voice.
Graphics are looking pretty impressive, and the gameplay looks much smoother than the last SOCOM Beta I played.
I'ver never actually bought a SOCOM game before, but I might try this one out.
In reality, it's not Microsoft that "chopped up" this game. Remember, this game was originally a PS3 exclusive until the developers changed their mind and decided to go multi-platform. They knew that the project would be ambitious, they knew the game would span multiple DVD's, they knew they would have to pay royalty fees, yet they decided to make a version for both consoles anyway.
