Honestly violence in videogames isn't a bad thing. It depends on how 'mature' or how 'their mind works' that really matters. A kid who is 8 and acts like he's 16 should be able to play Resident Evil and GTA. Violence in videogames is the same as violence in movies...and no one says anything about movies do they? People just look for things to complain about ya know...because they're bored...
