Varies. April gave me Killzone Mercenaries, a good game but one I didn't even buy when it was on sale under $10. I'd give this month a $5 value. Some are $0, others up to $20. Overall it pays for itself but honestly, people blow Sony too much.

Companies are soulless and evil greed machines. Never feel like they're your friend, they just want your cash so you should expect nothing but a game from them. These days they don't even feel compelled to do that right, with Day 1 DLC, patches for knowingly broken games released anyway, and rehashes galore, this industry is in need of another crash and soon.

I swear, action RPG fans are why Parasite Eve became a shooter, FFXV became an action game with tacked onRPG elements to pacify old school fans, and why we will never get another Chrono; it just isn't appealing enough to fools.

Too hard, actually. Well, not "hard" but complicated, with long boring tutorials, and unbalanced sections and they try your patience with collectathons, bulls*** missions and try to make up for it with half hearted multiplayey and/or bitchy trophies.
I prefer more indies these days. AAA can still be the best around but most are boring rehashes and DLC fests.

Back in the SNES days there were no patches like you said, so most games had to be released working. Now they ship a pile of code that looks like an amateurish project and its patched together like a sinking boat. Screw that.
