You don't get it do you.
Why do you think console titles come out relatively bug free, and look good for the hardware (Last of Us ran on a 256MB RAM system, don't tell me any PC could ever do that). It's the optimization, because the devs have to focus only on a single set of hardware. With two PS systems, no matter what Sony says, one is bound to get preference over the other eventually.
And that's not even considering the cost of develop...
@GrubsterBeater: Keep those silly comments coming.
You didn't read the article before you started LOLing did you?
The article never says that people won't want the PS5, it says that now that we know Sony is capable of bringing out a upgraded hardware mid-cycle, people might just make that PS5 mid-cycle upgrade the right time to buy a PS5. Which means lower sales at launch, and hence lesser titles on the platform. Which hurts everyone!
The thing is that it's not a dead horse.. It's the damn leading horse.. About to make a mistake
My main concern is that we won't get to see the level of optimization we saw with the ps3..
I'm sure they'll come up with more ways for us to die!
It might be one of the launch titles for PS Neo now. We might get more news when E3 arrives. Kinda looking forward to it, the trailers looked amazing.
Ni-oh.. Salt and sanctuary.. Lords of the fallen.. Come to think of it, whenever a game is tough, it gets compared to Souls games..
Sounds like it.. I actually am pretty satisfied with Bloodborne being what it is.. I'd rather see a new IP from them now. Though others might disagree. And it's not like I'd say no to more Bloodborne.
Yeah, even I am hoping they stop with this. Much I love Nathan Drake, I'm sure Naughty Dog has more in them!
IKR. Not every franchise needs to be milked like AC or COD. Also can't wait to see what they bring out next :)
Hey thanks, needed this :)
Same here, even I am cautiously hopeful for the campaign. However, i really was looking forward to a AAA arena shooter for consoles. I guess I'll be waiting for Overwatch,
Where's The Witcher 3?
Even sadder that it's an exclusive, with all the Windows store controversy surrounding it. The game should be experienced by more people.
It's a solid game.. one of the finest I have played in years!
I actually am the one who wrote the article, so I've played QB, and having played all the previous Uncharted games multiple times (absolutely love them), I'm pretty sure I know what to expect from Uncharted 4. All I'm saying is that both QB and UC4 are entirely different types of games, both great in their own place.
That's a lot of pixels flying around..
I absolutely love uncharted, and am eagerly waiting for it. However, Quantum Break is an entirely different beast. It has way more depth.
I like Sony, and the games and consoles they make.
I only see two reasons for the PS NEO:
1. Newer component prices are lower than the ones available 3.5 years ago (when the PS4 was being made first)
2. 4K Bluray support
3. PS VR breakout box intergration
Anything other than this is bad news.
