I love digital myself. Steam is the best thing to happen in gaming in the past ten years. When Skyrim launched at midnight on 11/11/11 I had it installed 3 days before and was playing literally as it just launched while my friends stood in the cold outside EB games lol you can also download your games anywhere from the Cloud. Only downside is you don't have the actual disk to look pretty on the shelf (or the swag that comes with it)

Actually when compared to other franchises MGS sales would be deemed underwhelming to many publishers.

If anyone can stomach net loss in the early months of a launch it's MS. Sony was loosing $200 a unit with the PS3 early on and it did just fine. This gen will not be much different as far as sales.
$100 more means nothing if it has the games IMHO , and it does. Had MS went in to E3 like this then they'd of won the show as all Sony had going for them was announcing they had the opposite restriction policies. Otherwise Sony had a very boring show. Disagree all you like but the ps3s "cell" was a terrible cpu and pretentiously complicated--a main culprit in all the headaches devs had for that platform. Dropping that chip for a much more sensible cpu in the PS4 is a smart move by Sony.

So let's get this straight: when Sony was first on Amazon it was "big news" and "Ps4 for teh winz brah!" and ostensibly an indication of future dominance. Now when Xbox One beats it out and takes number one it's "sad" and "too early to tell". I guess the age demographic on N4G is 8-12.
As I said when it was revealed, the Xbox One will do just fine. The 360 owned the U.S for the whole console generation--respect.
