Also, im not sure about the casual/advanced versions on killzone. I think the cod kids can just keep playing cod, and they should leave killzone with its heavy, harder gameplay.
The demo was kinda meh first time but I am now on my 8th playthrough it is so incredibly fun once you get the hang of the controls and game mechanics. Trust me guys give it another go its so awesome!
Twxture resolution has no implications on the storage format. It is exclusively determined by the engine limitations/ design choice to improve framerate stability. Gears of war 2 is a high res beast but the framerate can sometimes take a hit. It has nothing to do with storage.

At the comment somewhere above me which talks of killzone having good textures. They are incredibly LOW res masked by an absurd amount of motion blur. Killzone behind motion blur is a very very ugly game. With the motion blur however it looks fantastic.

I know this game will kick ass but please dont tell me people actually believe this looks better than uncharted 2. Seriously, this doesnt even touch it, heck there are quite a few xbox 360 games which trump it. Look at the grass textures, in fact look at the ground textures in general, and the flatness of everything. There is a reason why they got this to run at 60fps, many grphical compromises. Come on guys, Uncharted 2 looks better am I right? Or am I wrong?

And yes HHG I think it already has done when it announced Halo reach and the trailer showed "IN GAME" engine footage. I think considering the large vistas of halo, its a great technical feat. Uncharted 2 will dominate animations for a while though in my opinion, they are just sooo FLUID! EVEN at 30fps!
Gears of war 2, resident evil 5, already look better and have way more stuff going on than uncharted. Oh forza too.
Well I already have a copy. Its why I bought an xbox. But for people who dont own it yet, its not worth it to buy it off this service. In the Uk anyway.
But here in the UK its £19.99 which is $31. In the shops, you can get it for about £10 which is about $16.
Gears of war 2, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Mass effect, etc etc ALL 30fps. Seeing a pattern now?
60fps means toning down the visuals and lack of aa for example. 120fps simply isnt an attainable number for this generation unless all you want to play is psn or xbox live arcade games.

Where the hell is gears 2. Sure its much less noob friendly than those other games but once you get the hang of it its ridiculously satisfying.
