We played the demo at work. Four people out of five (didn't play RE games before) won't be getting this game just because of the controls. They should care about newcomers, old school players will get the game anyway. It's like Capcom doesn't care about the money with this one...

I fully agree with the article. Capcom will make a big mistake if they don't add another control scheme where you will able to walk and aim simultaneously. For many, many people it is and will be a deal breaker. I don't see the logic behind it at all. They supposed to be making as much money as they can out of this title. I understand why they did it, but 4 years really changed the style how people want to play this kind of games now. Besides, RE5 is now more of shooter then any previous iter...

Everybody are entitled to their opinion. All you can do is to not agree with it. I didn't play it so I won't judge it. The game is EPIC, there is no doubt about it but I'm pretty sure there will be some dissapointed people. Just like with RE5. And 8.9 is an excellent score. Don't expect everybody will jump the hype train. GTA4 is a great example what hype can do with the reviews and reviewers...
Even if controls are ok for some of you, Capcom is doing a big mistake by not giving a player an option to move entirely while aiming. For many it will be a deal breaker, me included. When I was playing I was like 'wow, welcome to four years ago...'. And I can now see that article which was comparing RE5/ Killzone2 graphics was written by a blindman. RE5 is not even close...
