As for the Edge reviews, we are often speaking of different reviewers, different opinions, different scores.
What is a review? The purpose is to pass a judgement on how a game functions, how it speaks and uses its own language. Whereas 90 percent of sites restate information that can be found on a press release. A negative score means nothing, a positive score means nothing, all should be looked at and discussed for their critical reasoning and analysis (or lack thereof). The Ed...
In a nutshell, this article exemplifies the problem with a massive portion of reviewers. Maybe this lame marketing mouthpiece of a site's role is to serve the consumer, but Edge's isn't. They critique, they reason, they deduct. What does PSXTREEEMEMEMEM do? They set up a checklist and "review". Learn what a "critic" is first, kiddos, before you go on such an amazingly stupid flaming.
People seem to think it means something. Question: What are the next 100 gamerpoints or gold trophies going to do for you? Answer: Nothing
I personally hate whenever those icons pop on the screen; it rips me from an absorbing experience and shoves me into Microsoft or Playstation land -- last time I checked, those don't exist in Rapture or the Capitol Wasteland.
*That's a good movie.
And no, it's not a good movie.
.... why is this shooting the degrees up so quickly? lol.
@Pennywise
lol, go read IGN. You are one of the many reasons why so many reviewers suck.

Insomniac can do better.
Misleading title. Canadians get everything besides netflix (which they have never rolled out here anyway).
Don't think about it too hard, bud. Epic certainly hasn't.
Well now... that's asking a little too much.
More sites should be doing this. I've heard enough about this metacritic BS.
I guess spiderman 2 was pretty good. Not much else though
Nah, it's just essentially not balanced properly.
5/5 might make sense, this a singleplayer only review.
Could be another disgrace, I know that the multiplayer is, at least.
Can't say I believe that Treyarch can make a good game. Guess I need to find out now.
I'm shocked that this turned out to be solid.
haha, well they have proven that they can certainly think for themselves... it's just that they don't think about much.
The problem is honestly that the game industry never had a community of critics from the start, and there is only one beginning to develop now, so late in the game.
Old dogs can learn new tricks, but they never forget the old ones either. Maybe we're doomed to sites like PSExtremersohotPS3.com feeding into this BS, forever
Holy hell, I ...
