What console has ever had a price cut at launch?...and the list doesn't go on, it actually should back up a bit as most of those are not "changes" but "additions". PS+ is the only change but the value it carries renders the argument moot as it was widely accepted.

Absolutely. Microsoft has been doing it to Sony for 10 years or so. Now that Sony has legitimate grounds to fire back... I just find it funny to see so many people give Sony backlash for this comment.
The crowd at the show says it all though. If you listen closely, they first OOOOOOHHH'ed, as if they thought the comment was in bad taste but then quickly started clapping because they knew it's true and completely agreed.

Truth is I've learned a lot because of gaming, from adventure games, anyway. There's always cool facts about places you visit and things you see, of which are in the real world as well.
@lex-1020, #1.1.1, there ARE Helghast on Vekta. It seems that the ISA probably helped the Helghans out after the destruction of their planet. It was said at the PS Meeting that they are living together, separated by a wall al la Berlin type, right before the clip was shown. Check it out.

I've always read that Skyrim for PS3 was terribly buggy. For me, the worst I've experienced was a lock up which required a restart, maybe 10 times in the year that I've played it... and that Grand Healing spell wasn't purchasable from Collette after completing her restoration quest. Haven't played in a while so they might have fixed that one since. There were also some dragons that didn't play nice but all in all, I had a pretty good experience with it!
That seems very unlikely. You might think it would convert PS3 gamers to jump over to the 360, but how about the gamer getting fed up with the developer and boycotting them on all future releases??
No developer would purposely create a buggy game and risk loosing customers, no matter what "reasonable" offers made to do so because they would loose so much more in the end.

@LOGICWINS, because the Wii was cheap. Also, it was mainly fueled by families, whereas PS3 and 360 sales were fueled by gamers themselves. More families started to buy a 360 after the Kinect was released and the PS3 was only purchased by a family because of Blu-ray playback.
What I mean by that is, a mother/father who don't spend more than 2 hours a week on a console, whether it be gaming or watching movies, wouldn't purchase one for their kids unless it was their bir...
To add to yours.. I have never seen a game released on pc or console free of bugs. People will bitch at anything, it's in the nature of things. If there truly was a game that came out free of bugs and lets say it was even an amazing game to play, someone will be there to state that another game of their preference is better. That's all it is, really. Everyone has their opinion and because of this wonderful thing called "the internet", we're going to hear/read about it. ...
