I think the implementation of the second screen is an awesome way to expand on gaming.
I highly doubt gaming will die or any as drastic as the light you're putting it under.
The WiiU (first party games) do an amazing job of utilizing the 2nd screen. If the second screen becomes something more than just "inventory screen" Then I think it will be better for gaming.
I wouldn't say its better than the original or CT, but it shows were back on track. Also I hope eric johnson gets better lines/improves his performace. As Sam Fisher felt like commander shepard.

LOL review is way biassed, its a good game for what it is. You wanted stealth we got it back. Is it better than Chaos Theory no, but it excels at what it is.
If you haven't played then just SHHHHHHHHH! You can go the entire game without shooting a single bullet, Stealth is back. Is the story as solid as Chaos Theory? No. Is the new voice for sam amazing? No, its passable at best.
However, the core mechanics needed for stealth is all there.
MP is another story, go on the forums and there is clear division of opinion on the SvM modes.

SP so far (playing on PC) is great, up there with Pandora Tomorrow and the original but in terms of better than Chaos Theory nope. Multiplayer is currently unbalanced and needs fixing.
seen plenty of videos, gameplay looks cool, but its not the same sam fisher, the writers changed him and the VO does him no justice. Can't help but see imagine what the scenes would have been like with Michael Ironside.

Got a gtx 760 which is close but cheaper than 670 and closes the gap on the fps, very good mid range gpu.

you need to also realize that N4G went from being a massively loud and childish MS and Sony fanboy fanbase, to a Sony fanboy club, after everyone jumped ship from Xbox, who can blame them??, its all a massive circle jerk between sony fanboys, the only nice thing is that past month it has all been about the Xbox getting sh*t canned non stop.
I'm working at Eurogamer here in London and apart from the obvious fanboys everyone has walked away pretty happy and impressed.
