@simpleslave yes but, if i recall half-life and darkness were pretty much SP games. Thus the devs don't really have much choice but to make an epic SP. Which is why I say, games like COD and BF. People play the SP usually to get a feel, of the game (if things such as fps is new to you or you want to get those achievements/trophies). I did a my bit of research when I was into the game. I know that the Brothers of Steel are all but almost whipped out, I know that each vault dweller had a huge impact with their game. (maybe i'm wrong idk).. Anyways, if vegas was soooo good, why do people prefer fallout3 to vegas??

Ummm, MW3 hasn't been said to have dedicated servers, its still running on the same crap engine from ages ago... True activision make tons of money cuz ppl buy, but I would like to see them use all of those billions in $$$ to make a better engine and produce something of greater quality.
