yes i understand that and by no means is console sales just the bottom line but really where i was going was that sony has more that just the ps3 just as nintendo has more that just the wii. people just look at ps3 vs 360 when there doing the fanboy march song comparions and theres more to it then ps3 sales for sony. like i said before, i have all the consoles (including my/my daughters HM psp) and the only thing in it for me are the games. to all of you guys wanting and whining for BC, you all had a chance at it with the launch systems but didnt buy em. so sony tried to save some money and took it out and now here ya go belly aching for it. i read so many posts about people that dont want to buy a ps3 cause it dont have BC and wont buy one until it does cause they have 50,000 ps2 games but IMO if you have so many ps2 games then wheres your ps2 you played them on at?

the other day, i wanted to see if it still worked and to see if any of the games would be playable for my lil girl. ah the old days....
i agree with you that a clean install would be better for most users than the upgrade and most of them would think their pc's run faster with the new os even though they were bogging down from not being maintained right. but i think alot of people will screw up the install and blame what i consider to be one of the better windows version released.
the new ice age movie in 3d. the glasses are comfortable and the movie is amazing looking, as far as 3d goes. the actual movie is good but that 3d is amazing

and i think its childess and not a very good one. consider this: wow has the largest subscription rate of all mmo's and lotr is no slouch with its own strong following. i myself have played both and its my "opinion" that both are really good games but i would much rather sit on my couch, holding a controller while balancing a beer between my legs and play a mmorpg from my console preferably my ps3 on my 60" with my surround system cranked up. sony its time to get the eqoa team ...

but thats not what my comment was about. i am an average gamer at best but when i watch a show about gaming competition i dont want to see people battling it out on GoW2 or Cod while hanging by there feet from a roof while being sprayed with a fire hose blind folded on fire... you know what im saying .
how can you call this real gaming? the one show i watched, they had the gamers hanging upside down driving. i dont know about you but if im gonna call my self a gamer champion, im gonna do it straight up (no pun intended) with no catches. im talking about real gamer to gamer competition without twists and tricks. sorry but thats my opinion.

i ran win7 for a few months and with the exception of a couple of games screen resolution problems i thought it was the best version of windows i have ever used to date. i still miss the extreme ease of use i got from windows 3.1/dos5 back in the day though :P

gonna finally get your PS3 Slim and when you do its gonna be missing usb ports or card reader or something and then your gonna whine about that. Its gonna be hard to fit a pc in a case so small with everything and that what a ps3 is. also its gonna be hard to control the heat. but as long as you get what you ask for....
