Combat wise they're very different Hellblade is very simplistic while God of War's is fast, fluid with interchangeable weapons on the fly with many enemies on screen both small and large, not to mention its a core focus of God of War while Hellblade is like 30% combat
Apart from the different lighting in the first few seconds they look exactly the same, you people on here saying the E3 video looks 'vastly' better are looneys lol
The game was GOTY for quite a lot of publications it's hardly forgotten and as for sales it beat both Ico and Shadow on its opening week it was never going to sell like hot cakes and done what everyone expected it to do
I hope Sony remakes 1&2 those games deserve it and should absolutely not be skipped

Big franchises like God of War need to change and evolve In order to remain relevant, I guarantee if God of War had just been the same the reaction would be nowhere near as positive as it was when it was revealed last year, This new entry in the franchise does it brilliantly striking a balance between the old and new, SSM nailed it last year with the exception of Zelda it was the most talked about game at E3 2016 even now that demo is approaching nearly 18 million views on YouTube

Asuras Wrath was a crappy forgettable anime that became a game instead and flopped, if Kratos truly was one of the worst characters in gaming God of War wouldn't have made it past the first game but here we are over 12 years later and Asuras Wrath was forgotten in mere months of release lol
