The good: The SP is well done. The portals and gravity manipulation works well. The standard pistol has a nice feel to it, and the scope-in rawks. Very, very cool. The atomosphere is great- creepy, dark and mean, and the story is surprisingly engaging (though the intro feels a little like a rip-off from the HL2 citaldel scene- not a bad thing really.) The spirit walk can, I imagine, allow for some interesting and difficult puzzles. And I personally like free use of curse words in video games....
Wii may be the console to beat in Japan. Sony seems more interested in using the PS3 to sell their HDTV's, online music service, and bringing Bluray to the mass market (so they can go on to sell movies and high end BluRay players). I can't blame them, they're here to make money, but as a gamer, so far I'm not too interested in what they have to offer and it seems many others are feeling the same way including Japan.
Oh, and a fact I forgot to mention... what if this game ended up being a sleeper hit or 'Game of the Year' caliber? Now we may never know.
Again, I don't know if it's something I'd cheer for or laugh about.
I don't care much for Sony or their practices, but I still fail to see how people can hail this as a good thing.
Don't get me wrong... Nintendo is usually my first choice in consoles, and I have a history of knocking Sony products, but Sony has done a ton of good for this industry, and to pray that they fail... what good does that do for gaming on the whole? None.

1. Wipeout 3 - My fav PS1 game, I still play it.
Wipeout is an outstanding game series. I've played them all and given the craptastic Wipeout Fusion, Sony owe us a good console version again
oh .. yeah one more thing! I don't care how complex or hard it is to bring content onto the Xbox Marketplace. Who's fault is that, Microsoft's or mine? I don't hear Nintendo or Sony telling me to manage my expectations when it comes to the number of titles they'll be offering online, so why exactly should I support your convoluted system that hasn't produced anything in terms of actual game content for a month?
I don't understand how pink came to be the "girl" color, as I've been female all my life and never did like pink. (Except on Kirby. He can be as pink as he wants.) Give me a nice teal blue any day.

Due to the GIMMICK nature of the Wii and its controller, this title will never live up to expectations. Sorry to say...this isn't Ubisoft's call to redesign, its the big wigs at Nintendo. It is, however, very impressive that Nintendo can "pimp their tricks" sooo easily!

Capcom said they're not finished with the game, and they're using 60% percent of the power of the Xbox 360.

Assassin Creed was the only impressive game for this last year on the PS3 and it's coming for the Xbox 360.

I wasnt all that impressed by the multiplayer, or else I'd probably just buy the game. I'm interested in seeing what achievements there are too.
Also, I'm curious to see the side-by-side video comparison that IGN will most likely do when both the 360 and PC versions are out. They did one for Oblivion and it wasn't until then that you saw what the differences were.
