I agree with the bad start for Nintendo. It did suck but, the one thing I do know is that it's not about how you start it's how you finish that counts. Nintendo will come through despite poor forcast.

But I have to admit that it is a very small difference from one to the next all of them look great. For this reason I will purchase the Wii U version to take advantage of the gamepad features.
I really don't care who wins the imaginary console race. I'm a REAL gamer! I will enjoy every great game that I can this generation on every console that I can. Say what you want "Haters" Wii U is next-gen. It has games that I enjoy and you guys are so blind due to your brand loyalty that you are missing out.
What really bothers me about sites like this is that after reading all of the post I can see why we have wars, racialism and other hate related crimes...

I am a hardcore gamer and have been since 85'. I have logged hours upon hours on many different consoles and I enjoy a variety of different game genres. Just because I enjoy Mario and Zelda doesn't make me any less hardcore.
I would definitely go with Wii U. Although I can't wait for the release of ps4 and x1, Nintendo is releasing some pretty good games right now and the others will not be releasing too many until next year. It looks like you did your research and it shows that the value is in the Wii U. It also sounds like there seems to be plenty of games for the Wii U that peek your interest with more to come.
Well, I would not call myself a casual gamer. I have been kicking ass on every home system since Atari 2600. I have bought every major home console that has come out since the NES (Besides the Jaguar). I just like the tech. Since I have dated myself with the 2600 comment, one could assume that I might be getting up there in age and could use some exercise. Looking forward to Wii Fit U!

Yeah, a pretty great experience.
The problem with MM was that it came out near the end of the N64 life cycle when people were beginning to lose intrest in the system a bit. Also, MM was supposed to get a graphic upgrade from an expansion pak that needed to be bought and plugged into the top of the system. Alot of people like myself did not want to make that additional purchase. MM is the game that I truly hope gets an HD release on the Wii U because I missed out the first time around and still have not played it.
I think you might have misinterpreted the comment. Please correct me if I am wrong but I believe that he was saying that he does not agree with the " prevailing definition among the supposed gaming elite."

I'm happy with mario, zelda, w101, pikmin3, zombie U, splinter cell. I am sure that I will be happy with mario kart, zelda U, X, bayonetta 2, Dk tropical freeze, watch dogs all to be released in 2014. Also, I will be playing Metroid and Fzero when the drop.
