In South Korea, PSN is still down but I don't care anymore because I move to Japan next week. XD Also you have to give respect to Kaz. The man can fluently speak Japanese and English perfectly. That's pretty tough when you have Japanese developers struggling to put together coherent sentences during interviews and such.
You would think that with all the other gaming news going on right now, people wouldn't still be trying to get hits talking about past events. Like people are saying, it was a slip of the tongue. Sony doesn't want people to know about PS4 yet so they want to keep it as hush as possible so when they do reveal it, it will be a little bit of a surprise instead of being majorly leaked like Cafe was.
Why is no one bringing up the fact that Sony just pre-paid their taxes for the next few years? That explains the loss quite clearly.
Still doesn't excuse the fact GT5 crushed Forza 3 in sales.

The 3.2 billion came from them pre-paying their taxes a few years in advance so they wouldn't have those losses cut into their profit margin each year. Smart if you ask me.
Rush job on getting PSN Store back up so some hackers can find another entry and wreck house OR make sure the job is done right so PSN Store is stable and we don't have to worry about this in the future? God, the choice is so hard....
Also none of you should even be complaining. All of us in the Asia region have now been PSN-less for more than a month. Be grateful you even get to play online let alone access the store.

Not everyone who plays on the PS3 are trophy whores. You people are making it sound like without trophy support, the games aren't going to sell at all.
people commenting without reading. Sony is basically paying off their taxes early to offset the cost of having to normally pay them off around the time they report their earnings. Of course, people are going to spin this into something terrible.
when Microsoft tries to muscle in on companies to get games not exclusive to them. Microsoft wanted a MGS game for X360 and so they forced Kojima and co. to produce one. Of course, making someone do a game for a console they don't like is going to have repercussions as we are now seeing here.
if not for the fact that it's not games that is keeping 3DS sales low, it's the fact that Nintendo has failed to show that the 3DS is a different version of the DS and not just another revision Nintendo comes out with every year. If they marketed it as a must have portable device, it would have seen explosive sales. Right now, people see it as just anothe DS with 3D.
for 3-4 hour stints at a time. Not one glitch or hiccup. The occasional framerate drop and texture pop-up but nothing serious. I just touched the back of my PS3 and it's cool which is amazing considering it's an 80GB PS3 Phat swapped for a 500GB HDD.
and I'm starting to believe it might have been a small developer presentation. Remember kids, just because Nintendo hasn't presented it at E3 yet, doesn't mean that people in the game industry haven't already seen this thing numerous times over. I'm calling this real.
I use Balrog and using the analog pad on the 3DS makes it easy, but not when I'm fighting kids online who abuse the touch screen controls for projectile characters.
that the media is going to give all the attention to Rockstar instead of Bondi for making this awesome game. Also, it's way early to start calling GoTY right now. Let's wait for the end of the year. By the way Kamikaze, the media "bends over backwards" for Uncharted 3 because its predecessor is one of the greatest games of this generation. it's only natural the next entry for a great game is going to have.....wait for it......great hype. Shocking I know!
