"This is the score MW3 deserves, but not what it needs right now."
that's a double edged sword. The fact that the last two games turned him off yet THIS Elder Scrolls he loved? That can sound distressing to those who loved the features of Morrowind and Oblivion only to have things removed in Skyrim.
can definitely be an awesome addition to my team by spotting enemies, putting up T-UGS for everyone to detect intruders, placing Radio Spawns in key locations to help turn the tide in a battle, and above all, keeping the enemy constantly looking around and fearful to enter certain areas.
In one game on Caspian Border, I literally held the Gas Station by myself against 10+ people sniping and keeping them second guessing. Recon isn't my fav class though.
...
are a joke. If you guys just recently built computers or upgraded to to play Battlefield 3, then your rig will no doubt be able to handle Skyrim. Myself? I'm waiting for a Steam sale to pick it up because I am not hyped for this game at all.
it's going to get 10/10 not because it's a good game but because AAA Nintendo games (especially a Mario or Zelda game) tend to get reviewed with rose-tinted glasses on as if Nintendo can do no wrong.
get a Xbox controller and you won't have that problem. That's what I did today when I bought it this morning.
one of the 5 picked to go to Vancouver to see the making of SSX at their studio but had to decline because I was in Korea at the time. To make up for it, one of the managers decided they would give me a free copy of the Collector's Edition when the game comes out next year. :D
is that because Skyrim and SS are on the list this year, it's almost guaranteed that one of them will win GotY. I still think it's going to be between UC3 and Arkham City but that's me.
Nice trolling. If you did your research, Arne even explained in the UC3 OT on NeoGAF that the reason they couldn't implement cheats and skins was because it caused glitches in the code. So instead of causing crashes, they removed them altogether.
Troll less SDF. Sony didn't throw out any "trump card." You forget that we are now coming into the twilight years of this generations and Sony has yet to drop the PS3 to $199. That is the current mass market price. The Xbox 360 and Wii have both been under this price for a while now and sales for the Wii has stagnated and the only territory that the 360 holds is America. Hell even Nintendo posted the sales figures showing that the PS3 has been outselling both systems for 2011. T...
However Naughty Dog has definitely proven they are in a league all their own.
I like how you got 3 disagrees for that. Like I said in another story, Arkham City is good but from reviews, it hasn't made an impact on critics the way Uncharted 3 has and that WILL make a difference come time to choose GotY.
Of course people will play Skyward Sword and it will get nominations, but honestly outside of Best Adventure or Best Wii game, it's going to have a VERY hard time competing up there with the other blockbuster hits this fall.
Troll elsewhere kid.
I'd have to say that the front-runner is Uncharted 3 even though it has a lower metacritic just because the game made such a strong impression on reviewers. Batman: AC is a good game, but whether or not it was so good that reviewers gushed over it like Portal 2 or U3, remains to be seen.
all you want. The truth remains whether you like it or not.
In sales? MW3.
In overall quality? BF3.

So having a game where popular characters from different franchises on a system are fighting is copying? Well you better tell Capcom they are stealing from Nintendo too with:
- X-Men vs. Street Fighter
- Marvel vs. Capcom
- Marvel vs. Capcom 2
- Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- Street Fighter x Tekken
- Tekken x Street Fighter
- Marvel Super Heroes
etc.
Please be quiet when the adults are talking.
People overreacting. You know why DLC is a good thing? Because it shows that Naughty Dog cares enough about the game to continually create new content to bolster what is already on disc. I plan on joining the Fortune Hunters' Club so I can get the DLC fast and for half off. Don't like it? Don't buy it.
I'm not going to lie, it kinda caught me off guard. It's not as bad as "No Russian", but still pretty jarring. Of course, with me being in the military, anything involving war and children kinda sets me off.
