Well if were going to start throwing multiple developer studios into the mixer I'm going to say....
Insomniac graphics and gameplay coupled with Team Ico's concept and design, with some Square-Enix cut scenes, and a story and dialogue from Double Fine. Infinity Ward and Bungie would handle the multiplayer that would come on a seperate disc due to unprecedented amounts of maps and game modes.
maybe Bungie can bring in the studio that is doing Spacehawk:)
@3.1 your probably right, and I have no rational reason for this but I hate Guerilla and Killzone 2. I could not even begin to tell you why, maybe it's residual hatred left over from the original Killzone.
*hands tissue* It will be here eventually, gonna go watch the trailer from the end of KH2 again:)
Explain pls? I'm not flaming but what do you think Naughty Dog could bring to Team Ico and vice versa?
Yeah you could pretty much switch out Naughty Dog/Double Fine or Insomniac/Double Fine and still get the best game ever!
@4...I was actually thinking Bioware/Square first but honestly I do not think Bethesda would benefit more in terms of story, and style.
Good one, or maybe a Insomniac/Rockstar North kinda thing...that would be awesome
Good stuff, thanks for the update!
Dude the only one misinfromed here is you. How is this a negative article about the 360, did you even read it? It's an article about how Project Natal is going to help keep the 360 competative in the next few years without a new hardware iteration.
I remember my NES that came with that robot...I loved that robot:)
@XI MS did say that they were holding some stuff back, which I'm sure will include Reach info. Remember this is a Day 1 breakdown, in no way have I said that Sony is going to whipe the floor with MS....yet:)
I mentioned the Alan Wake stuff but am unable to find any video as of yet, when I do I'll post it up in the article. @Xi Sorry man, I just don't see how Crackdown and Splinter Cell stack up against GT5, GOW, and MGS: Peace Walker in terms of 'big announcements'
Are you kidding me Crab, do you have any idea how many times I've been called both bot and droid in these comments....jeez
You guys have a point, Nintendo has managed to be wildly succesfull with very little quality 3rd party support. I mean when was the last time you heard of Nintendo shelling out 50 million for some DLC. For pure Nintendo fans I'm sure their happy with the Wii, but I still think the Casual Gamer bubble is going to burst sooner or later...but who knows.
Ah...and Nintendo can not subsist on Casual Gamer alone either, at least not forever anyway. Sure the Wii brought an older generation into gaming, for awhile. I don't think Grandma Moses is gonna be running out to pick up Mario Galaxy 2 or the new Zelda though. Most likely their Wii is collecting dust.
Not bashing the Wii, just saying is all.
I think the Wii will be remembered like a really bad fad...kinda like tight rolling your pants in the 80's or Winger. Either way Nintendo needs to get their sh!t together and realize that man can not subsist on Mario alone.
bummer for those 360 owners that got hit by this:(
I could not believe that Sony dropped UMD conversion.
