Choosing Tetris Effect is hardly "[being] different", though. It got GOTY from a fair few publications.
it looks pretty fun, really dig the aesthetic
Superior would be dope. Reckon we'll see Symbiote in the sequel for sure.
I missed out on Before the Storm, but I'll definitely be jumping back in for LiS 2. Glad to know DONTNOD's strong character writing carries on.
I find this surprising given Battle for Azeroth's mixed response from the community, but I'm glad to see the game alive and well.
A lot of the systems for gearing up are really unrewarding, there's too much RNG and generally, it's been a bit of a bug fest. Island Expeditions, Warfronts, and Azerite Armour, which are all new systems, are either a waste of time, poorly implemented, or not worth it, leaving BfA seeming like Legion 0.5. For example, you can reach a competitive item level by AFKing in Warfronts for 3-4 hours, which is insane.
Leveling and raids have been good fun, though!
As an ardent WoW fan, I never got around to playing Destiny. Forsaken, however, is tempting me away from the streamlined mess that is Battle for Azeroth...
Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk might be the best game title of 2018
Chrono Cross was chosen instead of Xenogears, purely because the third act in Xeno is straight-up unfinished. I really enjoyed Dino Crisis back in the day, but it's not as seminal as Parasite Eve, Silent Hill or Resi.
Legend of Dragoon was certainly considered, really underrated.
Dino Crisis was an underrated gem of a game. Really diversified the Resi formula.
Author was from the EU, where you cannot get Chrono Cross and Xenogears on PSN. Imports and used copies run a lot higher there, as not many were made. Plus the PSN of FF8 version is an emulation, and has a few technical hiccups, thus leaving the original as the “definitive” or best version.
Probably the most underrated game of 2017, so stoked to check this out!
Love the art style for this, gives me Katamari vibes oddly enough.
I think most people just want P4G on a platform that isn't the VITA or PSTV.
