Being this is the first gen we have seen mid gen refresh units get more expensive, 500$ isnt great 400$ and it would be pretty big competition for Ps4 Pro, dispite what Spencer wants to say Ps4 Pro is competition for the Xbone X and Base Ps4 is the competition for Xbone S. Ill give you a thumbs up because yes a large list of 4k games and.......the majority of those games are not exclusive they are multiplat now add the fact that Ps4 Pro will benefit from the fact the XboneX will have "true 4k" well guess what, Ps4 Pro will likely get check board 4k and that is close enough to "real 4k" for the majority of people and given the fact the Pro will likely see a price cut and base will see a permeant cut, that doesnt look good for XboneX sitting ...
Not only that but as the xbox version is supposed to be 4k there is no reason it will look any less awesome on my Pro. Expect Sony to annouce tomorrow the Ps4 Pro price dropped to 350$ and Ps4 base to be 250$ with a bundle that keeps the Ps4 Pro at 400 but you get a bomb ass game.
I admit I was wrong. Scorpio is 500. Microsfot is eatting a good portion of the production cost of that hardware. For my 500 is too expensive given I have a Pro and I didnt see any exclusive that interested me. All the game that did interest me are on Ps4 Pro and they will be close enough to 4k on the Pro for me.

The two points Ive said from day, watch kind of power does it deliver, and it has to be substantial a leap over my Pro, whats the price and what games will it have? If the price is right, the games are there and it offers me better graphical preformancd over my pro Ill get one.

No it doesnt Mr. Ybarra it actually gives a very accurate view of what people do on today's consoles but what does anyone expect him to say about a feature Xbone has being beating its drum s over for the last year? Its like if they release Scorpio and it flops you think he is going to be all "yeah its a loser, well guess we have to go back to the drawing board and try again" he is damage control that's his job.
Pc is flooded with F2P games and places like india and China, ya know the biggest populations in the world all play on PC because 1 consoles were illegal in china for a long time and 2 India is in the same boat. That 6.6 billion is pretty much all mostly 1st first world while that mobile and PC account for lots of 3rd world where you can go pay a few dollars to play wow, lol or over watch in a caffe.
Xbone has BC because it has to. If people are honest with themselves the Xbone doesnt have exclusives, has little exclusive content and has had a big drought of games lately. I think Scorpio is to blame for the game because devs are most likely holding back to publish on Scorpio. I had back compat on my 360 and used it maybe 1 or 2 time but thats because it had great games the xbone on the other hand is in a dissimilar situation as its in a slump so back compat makes sense.
Told people after I beta tested this it was grabage.
The Ps2 was the best selling console of all time and it wasnt showing signs of slowing when Sony annouced Ps3 so why the hell do people think Ps4 success would stop Sony from annoucing the Ps5. If Scorpio is price at or below 500$ you can bet Sony will cut the price of Ps4 pro, Ps4 base and you start seeing "leaks" about Ps5.
When this officially releases then Ill care.
