Where is the novelty?
Core: Gears, Halo and Forza+multiplatform (pad or hybrid kinect+pad).
Casual: All the other games.
The main problem is that they have not enough first/second party studios to support both markets.
This is an old interview. Why? Where is the last interview to the MS guy that has said "Only Kinect for 2011"?

I can't see MS doing a Halo Kinect. The new strategy with Forza Mototsport 4 is clear: pad for the gameplay, Kinect for armory and forge.

Reach is selling more than Halo 3, and even the third chapter of Halo Saga had a 80% drop:

The next Halo. It will be announced at E3 2011.
COD was about the WWII and to serialize it they set it in new scenarios (Modern Combat and Cold War). You are assuming that Halo will be always the same thing with same story, but it's only your vision. They could completely change the story (ex. rebels vs federation with Master Chief as a rebel who fights versus new Spartans), the feeling and evene the genre (an action rpg a la "Mass Effect").
Pacosanchez88 you say the truth. Excluding a lot of MS haters that regularly post their comments, I don't understand why we have to think that a Halo every 2 years will destroy the franchise.
People assume that there will be an Halo "fps" per year, but I'm quite sure that 343 Indstries are going to produce different genres of games: action-rpg, strategic squad-base fps etc.
They have created the 343 Industries to make Halo Games and analysts say that the franchise is quite done.
The right example is COD wich sells more every year. Guitar Hero, Rockband and Madden are always the same games with an updated data base.
Finally a good news from MS.
