I really wouldn't care if the game was ported to a superior console or to PC
But downgrading a game -that had so much potential- to make it suitable for a console which is inferior!!! I think that's capable of pissing any true gamer (Not just fanboys)

Here's my response to microsoft
The problem with "microsoft" is that they wont allow the PS3 version to be considerbly better, and it will not allow the game to have more CDs on the xbox than the PS3 version. They will pay for that if they have to (money was never a problem for M$)
So there you have it, the game will be degraded in so many ways just to fit in the Xbox, not only that but M$ will ensure that the PS3 version isn't any better!!!
Now the game will be degraded in terms of both visuals and content...
I'll say it again: Great job Square Enix for dropping my expectations for this game 10 folds.
I'm not a fanboy and own both consoles and enjoy them equally, but I'm a big fan of FF series and that's why I wanted to see the game at its best, by utilizing the Blu-ray capacity & the power of the Cell. (we all saw how great MGS4 turned out using the full potential given by the PS3 specs.)

Although I would've liked Sony to come up with a new design (ergonomic, more comfortable, better triggers) Don't get me wrong, but that's why I prefer multiplat-FPS on the 360, but anything else goes to my PS3...
Really needed a good plan and this one is great.
I already started the first one 1. No-kill playthrough with 'Big Boss Hard' mode. I must say it's like playing a different game (although I beat the game 3 times and wasn't killing a lot of enemies), gotta luv MGS re-play value.
Finished the 1st act in 55 mins, is that good? no alerts no killing n' got a lot of DP too :p

Obviously this comparison is bias, I have both consoles, and played most of the games listed there on both. PS3 doesn't look foggy or washed out at all. It's obvious that RGB was set to "Limited". Enabling RGB Full Range in Display Settings, the game will look the same as the 360 version. If not better.
I do agree though that some multiplats (not all) look slightly better on Xbox 360. Yet, its barely noticeable with screen to screen comparisons. But it's not Sony's faul...
I wish others can learn...
