Well, to tell you the truth, there's not much to choose from ps3 games in 2010, but yeah, GoW 3 will maybe best game of ps3, and most probably, the best ps3 game in 2010 IMO.
they really need to set up their game for this one then, with titles like halo reach, crysis 2, really pushing the limits of fps in this gen, they need to do something special for resistance 3. resistance has always had the gameplay, but lacking in the technical department.
There is not all that much which separates the ps3 to 360 be quite honest. In most cases, it is just personal preference, but in realistic terms the 360 does have a better controller, XBL is in general seen as a more reliable and better service than PSN, it also came out earlier which gave it a larger following earlier on which is one of the reasons it is at the moment the more popular console.

halo reach is still up there. cod has failed time and time again to take down halo on multiplayer
day 1 for me.
Unfortunately this will be a problem for the life of the PS3. No matter how talented the developer most of them can not afford to put more time into the platform with the smallest user base.
It is not like the PS3 getting the inferior version of a multiplat game is anything new. At this point I think most of us have accepted the fact that this will be a problem of PS3 in this gen.

If GT5 was released today... I think it would sell around 4M by the end of 2010 based on sales of other top games GT5P sales.

IMO its too late for Sony to charge for a service because they've already offered most of what people want for free. Early access to demos and betas with discounts on psn games isn't that enticing. On the flip, if they told you that you now had to pay to play online and such a lot of people would be furious.

killzone 2 4 years and Their budget was four times what most multiplatform AAA titles get, and they had twice as much time.
Credit where it is due, Killzone 2 looks fantastic but you are insane if you think that they didn't face some serious development issues that held them up this long. EVERY PS3 developer, even first party has faced some serious issues because the PS3 is a pain to develop for.
If you want to complain about long loading times, play MGS4 or mod nation racers on PS3. Long crap loading times, sometimes two in a very short period of time...

overrated =/= overhyped. GOW3 is overhyped but I think deserve the reviews, praise and critiques, that it receive from fans and journalists.
anyway I personally think that every game that has ok quality and has a lot of hype behind it is overrated. Because to have a score more than a 9.5 that means that the game is almost perfect.
