Yeah. Godmars290: you're a little bit off though.
Earthbound was indeed made directly by Nintendo. Satoru Iwata himself stepped in and did some critical programming for it. Chrono Trigger appeared on the Super Nintendo in its first release, but was developed wholly by Squaresoft (now Square Enix) and even went on to get re-releases on PlayStation platforms. ^^;

Tough to "let Nomura finish the job" when he hadn't even done anything in years, is the thing XD

Would if I could, but I can't. There's nowhere at all -- libraries or not -- to rent video games near me at all.

We all think stuff like that at some point. Back in like 1996, I thought that my school friend getting a CD burner meant we could all make copies of each other's games forever and ever.

I've been wanting that for probably 25 years....

I thought this was the way they did it, now?
Loot boxes for level-ups, Arcade, purchases, etc. are the festive type when available, but the ones they hand you for playing an in-demand role in the new 2-2-2 system are always regular loot boxes. (For example, sometimes there are so few tanks in queue, that they offer a loot box for picking tank. This will always be a regular loot box instead of a festive/event box.)

I could be mistaken though. Is that not the way it ...

Well, the press release even says "re-imagining" in like the second paragraph so ah, yeah?

Man, I don't get any of those references in that blurb o_O
