@THESONYPS3 Sony does not own Spider-man ,all Sony own are the movie rights & that is based only if they continue to make movies but the minute they do not make a movie all rights fully return to Marvel/Disney . my main complaint was when the idea of MS maybe making something similar, everyone kept stating they have no character's & when suggested they use 3rd party characters everyone was quick to bitch ,but Sony does it & everyone thinks it's a great idea.
The way i see it MS will become Activision's Sugar daddy while Activision continue to do what it does ,while MS profit grow.
Cause no matter how good something is, Advertisement is the subliminal message that reminds people about it & sways them to buy it .
Cause they have done so well w/ thier other IPs (Cough DC COMIC Cough).

Aren't some of these characters owned by 3rd party companies . what i love the most was that when mention if xbox can make a similar game everyone said they don't have enough character IPs to fill a game looks like Sony doesn't either if they are trying to persude other to loan them their Character to help make their game some what a unit mover.
Think 5 or more are 3rd party charecthers , i thought sony had a ton of charecther IP to fully support thier blant rip off of SMB
