They had a kiosk at my local best buy on saturday & it showed me two glaring problems (granted it might have been just my scenario)
1. While i stood & watched with my 4 year old son while a girl looking to be around 7 played ray man origins i saw one thing i thought would be an issue since ive heard about the controller, the little girl played for a total of about 5 minutes she almost never took her eyes off the contorler, whats the point of having a 50" tv if...
yes but as i said in my post the console would be aimed at current owners meaning we already have a HDD to install! Currently i have a 320gb hdd in my ps3 that i want to replace.
i might be a rarity but all my personal "great" games are there usually because of the story! I have played every mario game to completion up until 64 then i just kinda have no interest in it anymore, i have come to my conclusion that it is because of the lack of a compelling story. I have played a few levels of galaxy & yes it is a great mario game but ill be honest i haven't even put in 3 hours into the game, it just didnt hold my interest.
i get why they are doing this to get the new people & casuals to get this, but if sony really wanted to make a killing sales wise they need to give us current owners of old phat models an option. If they released the new super slim with no HDD & no games for $149.99, make it just bare bones console pretty much at the audience of people looking to "upgrade" or just replace there old ps3 they would have quite a few people lining up to get it myself included.

Dont forget about importing fees, not everyhing comes across the border for free!
Ive actually been saving $20 per month for the last year in anticipation of this, if it is released next november i should have enough to buy it, assuming they dont have some ridiculous launch price :)
Thats actually not bad, there are quite a few games on this list that arent really "new releases"
I would welcome cloud gaming if & only if they had a subscription model with xbox itself only, i would love to have a set say $20 per month to play all games available like gamefly but cloud instead of disc. I would not want anything to do with it if it was say you need a subscription with each individual publisher say $10 a month to play EA & $10 to play EA games F that!
I do have to disagree with your first part of your statement I used to have ATT Dsl with 3mbps down speed, when i downloaded files from psn the usually downloaded at 1mbps, since ive updated to 15mbps ATT Usverse & i still get the same 1mbps speed from the psn. I tested it last night actually i downloaded the same demo xcom from psn with no other network activity then with 360 the psn download took almost twice as long. Long story short its PSN its slow!
Edit: Forgot to ...
Ive played all the AC series, never bought a single piece of DLC & never plan to. The only ones ive been interested in ive watched the cut scenes on youtube.
Neverdead & Doom 3 bfg are the two on my list
I played the campaign this weekend, the best way i can sum it up is i kept finding something else to do instead of playing through, it just wasnt holding my interest.
Some good points, the first one especially dont go back to the dunwall, This game remind me so much of Bioshock for obvious reasons & I think the big drawback to Bioshock 2 was going back to Rapture. Explore some new area!
All i can tell is i bet this will cause my ps3 to overheat :(
Im actually starting the game tonight. Anyone play it yet? Thoughts?
Wow I assumed there would be way more fighting back & forth than this.
very true, so many of those people should just do what a lot of us do, get an emulator & replay those games instead of buy a "new" version
This is one of those games that its kinda hard to explain, is it "good" no its not a good game, is it "fun" yes its a fun game.
To me this is the perfect game to rent for a weekend, then never really think about it again!
not talking crap but if you preordered 5 games & buying the new console thats like $700 good lord man that is a lot of money!
Well thats what capcom wanted, to move more games. To bad its wasnt selling more because it was such a great game though :(
