depending on the ps4 launch price the vita might need a price drop to justify the ps4 price that might be what sony is waiting for.
i cant speak for everyone but i know a large ammount of people myself included have some will power & insist they will not buy a new console be it home or handheld until the first price drop. Thats how i did it with ps2 & ps3 & depending on the ps4 launch price i might do the same again.

i keep getting a glitch in most elevators when i try to move to the back of the cabin the screen re positions me to the front of the cabin first time it happend was a wtf moment now its kinda funny!

ive said for years sony's biggest problem for playstation is lack of advertising. i had been a ps3 gamer since about a year after launch & mine finally died i replaced it but wasnt happy with sony at the time so i bought a 360 also to see how the other side lived. My first gaming system was the NES but i have played me dads old atari a time or two.
Best decision ive made for the sanity & safety of my marage is a second tv in the living room. When i want to play something & my wife wants to watch something on tv we both can, i just slap on my headphones & we sit next to eachother on the couch & both are happy!
Having said that though my wife has played a handful of games. She really liked LA Noir i "played" that by watching her play it lol
