Edit: I realise Microsoft doesn't own the IP. I just got excited and posted. Sorry.
I want Streets of Rage 4! A proper, big budget, XBLA arcade game. Great music, sharp HD 2D visuals (perhaps some 3D background elements?) and diverse locations and enemies with memorable boss fights. The gameplay doesn't need innovating. Just implement 4 player co-op and a ton of people to kick the crap out of.
Announce that!
Did anyone attempt to play through Streets of ...
Great demonstration.
My TV is a little laggy so I experience this with all games. You twitch left, aim twitches left 0.1 seconds later. It's horrible but I've since become accustom to it. However, even I noticed how wrong the aiming felt in the demo. I'm dealing with not only the lag from my TV but the actual controls too!
@ Statix
I completely agree. I have no real problems with the button mapping but more so the aiming itself. No matter what sensitivity I set I honestly did feel that the controls were, as you said, sluggish and imprecise.
Thanks for that. Bubbles.
I bet this guy kicks ass at platformers. :p
What is wrong with this website? If I click agree/disagree on someone's post it sometimes credits a completely different one!
Regarding the demo, I felt the aiming was sluggish despite adjusting the sensitivity. I probably just need to adjust to the play style. I too set my controls to alternate 2 with non-toggle zoom. I wish I could set the crouch to toggle. What a strange omission.
Got my pre-order down. ;)
I don't download music or movies but I'll download the latest TV shows all day long. Downloading complete seasons that are available at retail is wrong but for anything current I'll download it with no guilt at all.
Isn't that a huge spoiler for Silent Hill?
Road Challenge/High Stakes was an absolute high point. It was easily one of my favourite games for many years. Apart from the pretty excellent Most Wanted, every other NFS game has had absolutely no appeal whatsoever.
Rock Band DLC, here I come!
I hope you realise that was a quote.

Yes, brilliant game. Utterly frustrating in parts yet still totally engrossing. I remember reading right after it came out that some of the developers had continued working on it, improving the fighting mechanics etc. It's a shame a sequel hasn't emerged yet and it's a shame the original wasn't released this generation - perhaps those little improvements would have slipped out as a patch?
I'd love to see a new game rival the CGI graphics in the inital Breakdown teaser trailers. I...
"Breakdown killer" - is this some common phrase I'm not familiar with or are you actually referring to the game Breakdown? Do you think if Mirror's Edge is a success Namco might consider releasing a sequel?
I hope I can install this arcade bundle pack. It came with my system and having the drive spin at full speed while I play poker is completely unnecessary.
I hope it's not that same level that's been in almost every video released so far. I remember how to do it perfectly and I've never even played it!
GD-ROM - but yeah, whatever.
A Gamespot hands-on preview already confirmed that Panic Attack is by Dream Theater. This list says Panic Attack is by Finger Eleven. Fake! Good try though.
Was that the egyptian themed one? It started by zooming around a river, showing off a waterfall and later entered a pyramid? If so, yeah, I was mightly impressed by that when I had my Rage 128.

Announce that! I'll buy it!
Did anyone attempt to play through Streets of Rage 2 on mania difficulty? Awesome!!!
