My theory: Because they don't really fight piracy on a major scale, and even gave out money prizes for those who hacked Kinect and wrote software for it. So they give out a candy to hackers and then slap some others. Thus everyone get's confused if they are for or against hacking :)

I own a Kinect, and so far didn't see a single game that you could play alone.
So I might be all wrong here, but my personal oppinion is that Kinect is for parties. And if we (me and friends) manage to laugh a lot after few beers while playing Kinect, then this game might actually work out.
