Looks like another gem published by Square Enix.
probably didn't in all honesty... i'm sure more time spent elsewhere would have made players more happy.. seems to me a lot like an attempt to lure Wii casuals and casual gamers in general over to something which is technologically more impressive.
That doesn't mean it will work better though.
To try and take advantage of the casual audiences such hardware would pull in.
Most likely it won't bring in new customers who'll buy Xbox 360 units as well though.. The slowing Wii sales show that the most of the people interested would likely already have some form of motion controlling in games.
Kinect will of course be very different to that, but different enough to warrant a purchase of both a 360 and a Kinect unit? We'll see.
all it needed was some more variety and some clean up on the presentation side of things and it could have been great!
it was bound to happen, too. now that gaming has become a casual thing to do it's a lot more socially accepted, hence you'll see many women, elderly etc. playing them, when only a few years ago this would be unheard of!
some interesting insights here, a good read.
A very solid expo.
Definitely in the top 5 Wii releases this year and this year hasn't even been that bad for Ninty.
Looking forward to it
Developer articles always make for a good read, nice work.
billiards is good fun and it's great to see they can replicate that in a game.
Awesome read man, I'd definitely look here for this sort of experience before going to a GTA type of game.. this will be sweet.
Good to see developers are starting to pay attention to sound, it bears more importance than some devs may realise.
Awesome stuff, some good insight!
Also much more friendly on the gamers' pockets... ;]
Looks good as! I'm not much of a horror person but strangely I am heavily anticipating the release of this one. Should definitely be a fun one to play, if not something a little bit different!
You've cracked a couple in your time too! :P
thought banjo and kazooie would rate higher, but good job, many of these will indeed withstand the test of time.
would definitely have been a hard list to compile, but i think most of what you've got there is agreeable. would have liked to see some retro protagonists though... :P
I expected so much more from Alpha Protocol.
another kid's game that feels like it wouldn't even appeal to kids? lol
