it would be half-life?
I'm aware of that..so should I stop buying used games because I want to be righteous and help the publisher out? No. I'm going to look for the best possible deal I can find on most games.
But rather than add features or free DLC (not that in store bs) to persuade a new game purchase, they rather take away features and shovel a whole bunch of 99 cent DLC in your face after you just bought your brand spanking new game.
Also, used games are not "cri...
I know the last thing I want to do when I open a game after buying it is paying more for something THEY took away.
Is it functional out the box, regardless if it's used or not? I guess one could argue that it wouldn't be up to the Publisher after it has passed from the owner's hand, but this isn't just a scratch or faulty disc we're talking about..So, is striping away the online portion the right thing to do?
I rather play these types of action/ adventure games on my PS3 anyway.
Surprised no front facing camera for video conferencing like the leaked 4g iphone.
Not socially inept. They just don't care as much.
Vgcharts seem to have it around a mil, and they have updated numbers..so I'll use those.
Lately, I've seen every game released not without some form of DLC. Which is crazy to me.
"According to the statement the cost will be $5 but no mention of a trial period is made which likely means none will be offered." That made me smirk.
Anyway, there is a huge used game market out there and it isn't a crime to buy used games. So, they're going to punish gamers for that? As ip owners they have rights; as the consumer, we have rights also.
Locking out a complete portion of a game is like selling a game that's not functiona...

NGII for the xbox sold only a mil..so well done here for the PS3 version.
Obviously, blu-ray offers the most compelling addition to any console based platform.
The appeal of mobile(iphone) games and console games are two distinct things. To compare the two as if they were competing for each others time is bizarre. If you're unhappy with your console(xbox) experience, get a PS3 or wii.
The trailer looked ok. Probably more of the same if you played MW2. Except for the inclusion of a possible zombie game mode, which is a given.
MLG gaming can't appeal to the mass market because the mass market and people who play video games don't regard it as a sport.
I think the integrated applications the 360 has are very appealing to, maybe a causal gamer. So, I guess the presumption (article) would be that most games are on both consoles anyway.
not caring anytime soon
