This is an outstanding achievement, im worried about when the X1 released and people start raving with X1 sales when 22nd is a "World Wide" release, I really hope N4G uploaders write their article correctly and try and not mislead people.
Well Said Lukas! Completely agree with you. 480p is a massive leap, just like the leap between 720p to 1080p. Also people can see it for themselfs, just change your resolution on your PC, go to 720p to 1080p (if it can) you WILL see a difference.
Yeah its my Christmas present from my Parents (not got a load of money atm) annoying i have to wait until then, but Christmas will be one hell of a day! Add my PSN Kiz2694
Same Lukas, it sucks to be in the UK/Europe. :(
No shit.
"Activision has confirmed that the version of Call of Duty: Ghosts made available to IGN for review (and displayed in the video embedded below) was presented at native 1080p. The issue described below and the corresponding day-one patch only affect retail copies of the game." Straight from IGN.
I think what people are forgetting is that this is a new generation of games, we dont compare Ps3 games to Ps2 games, so many poeple are reviewing these launch games, on a new high anticipated clean slate. With the slightly harsh (not saying bad) reviews of Killzone and Knack are really just setting a industry standard, if they thought Killzone SF was a superb fps that deserves a mid 9, they may reconsider when thinking this is literaly the first nextgen only first person, they dont know what...
Neonridr@ Take it this way, if I have a 720p camera, and record a game off-screen which is displaying 1080p and also do the same game but its running at 480/546p and compare the footage you would see a difference, subtle but its not impossible, this is the same concept of texture resolution and native in-game resolution.
tell you whats hilarious.. your double post. You do know it will still end with PS4 running native 1080p at launch and X1 will not.
its possible but it still comes to the question if it can handle it tho, and with the MP on X1 still being only at 720p it wouldn't seem to likely it would be patched.
I don't think his credibility is lost, he may have seen a difference in visuals between the xbone/ps4 regardless of resolution which seemed to be infavour to PS4, and without the 1080p, with it it should look better.
Games Informer have much praise for it. http://www.gameinformer.com...
Thanks for understanding my point :) I will eventually be supporting both consoles as well, but for now my priority is getting the stronger first. Same thing I did last gen/current gen.
wise move my friend.
http://n4g.com/news/1392360... Heres the article, @starchild Not necessarily, can just be down to bad/rushed optimization.
Well ive seen it all now!
The PS4 version, yes has framerate issues, but its only down to bad optimization, like this article states http://n4g.com/news/1392360... , there already working on a patch, when the framerate issue it fixed, the PS4 will be back on top with a sharper appearance. Also I dont think they should be saying its better makes it seem the actual gam...
@GmlsOnPt360 Well yes as this is an isolated incident for the PS4 this is the first issue Ive heard for the PS4 on any multiplats , where as the xbox one has had many (720p comes to mind) which are due to hardware limitations (on MS's part). There is nothing wrong with the PS4 hardware, so it must be IW.
@Computersayno
Its actually quite nice to see a nice positive honest opinion from a pc gamer with good analysis and knowledge. Well said good sir.
Oh man, if they bring back the Titan mode from 2142, I would die! loved that whole mobile home base idea! Like Star Wars BF2. Would be cool to see it on Aircraft Carriers! Close quarters fighting inside the ship, with vehicle warfare outside, would be awesome!
