When WiiU makes a remastered Zelda: Ocarina of time, and also bundles every other Zelda game, give me a call.
Until then these situations cannot be compared.
Its not the sales difference between XboxOne and WiiU that makes it no competition, its the fact that even Nintendo has given up on it. When NX hits, then XboxOne will be looking at it as a competitor, but by then Xbox will have a good head start.

Imagine all the PS3 games that you have never played, that are sitting in $5 bargain bins. You could game for an entire year on $100.

It was actually announced that all titles going forward will be backward compatible. So grab them all.

I think one more game announcement would've put them over the edge, even a CGI teaser for a 2017 game.
Just to prove they are thinking about the future further than 2016. Scalebound and Crackdown were both revealed E3 2014, Quantum Break was 2013.
