Devs will make sure that their game runs and is playable on all consoles as they're smarter than armchair devs
There is another article from the same site/author saying that Sony won so wouldn't that make the writer of said articles the one who's desperate by trying to play both sides, which seems to have worked as at the time of my comment this one has nearly 70 comments but the other one only has 8
But it is great when you can play your existing library and the new games on the one console instead of having multiple consoles plugged in
The point he's making is that people are quick to dismiss the opinion of a dev who praises xbox but champion the opinion of a dev who praises ps
Why shouldn't it be on xbox one ?
Just to be more specific about the one death that I mentioned is only for the last week as we've had 21 in total and have had just over 1500 cases with zero in the last week and we are moving to lockdown lvl 2 at midday Friday , sorry for the confusion
We have done pretty good dealing with the pandemic here in New Zealand as we went into lockdown and due to how it has been handled we have only had 1 death in the last week with no new cases
Ok so it looks like I'm going to have to clarify what my comment means.
"People are free to give advice" that is referencing the author offering his advice even if it isn't welcome.
"But it doesn't mean that it has to be followed" Sony are capable of making decisions themselves and not based upon what others say they should do.
@Igivehugs how do you get the assumption that I'm offering them any advice, it must be great jumping to...
How dare i say that they don't have to take advice if they don't want to
People are free to give advice but it doesn't mean that it has to be followed
@1Victor did you read the article as it clearly says that the game is on PS4, Xbox One and PC and so that means it's for current gen, which includes the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X and not next gen like you say
Seems like they just want to remain independent especially given this quote "Anything that would limit our freedom we would be against" so that statement also would apply to Nintendo and Sony
The point that I was trying to get across to you is that no one really likes Lawbreakers
Lawbreakers isn't on xbox so why say that they are the ones who like it when it was on ps and some of that fanbase did play it, so what does that say about them
Then why didn't you just release it on both consoles then
You can't even give them any credit can you
So if you aren't defending Sony or Microsoft then why does the first part of your comment single out xbox fans as being the one's who whine?
PS fans also like to whine when it comes to a game being timed exclusive on xbox, remember Tomb Raider for an example
Or maybe they did ask them but just like with Titanfall Sony didn't show any interest and so the devs asked ms instead
So devs will take full advantage of what the xbox series x has to offer
