You do realize that your logic of people buying a new console just to play new games is flawed because if that was true then can you explain why people play remasters, remakes & BC titles on new consoles and whenever they are announced do people who own the console they're on say they don't want them/play them or do they instead get excited about it
So as you said people buy new consoles to play new games not old ones then by your statement PS gamers don't want PS1, PS2 or PS3 games on PS4 or is that the exception to the rule ?
