It hasn't been stated that the PS5 will have BC for ps1, ps2 & ps3 games as the only games that have been talked about are ps4 games given how the ps5 will have similar X86 architecture to the ps4
So there's no point in having ps+ until next gen then if, as you say Sony are waiting until next gen
