I'm not too happy that they intentionally made the game balance the way it is in Arcade Edition. Feels like a 2 Steps forward with Super; 1 Step back with Arcade Edition to me.
Oh well. Since all arcades are extint around my city, I'll just have to wait until the console DLC to make a better judgement call.
I'd like it if they release it on, or with in the week of Halloween.
I'm surprised they felt Final Fantasy XIII deserves a sequel... I suppose the reception of it must have been more favorable than I thought..?
Oh well... I likely will pass up this if it's anything like FF:XIII. I'm going to remain hopeful that Versus XIII will break this awful streak Square Enix has been on for the last while.
I'm not sure if this update has enough meat to have me comeback to it. I experienced everything the game had to off on the free 30-Day Trial 2~3 months ago.
I feel it still needs a good deal more.
Hopefully a new Zone of the Enders.
I'm all for more info on that Agent title.
Hopefully no MGS:5 until AFTER the Raiden spin-off release.
Aha, I was thinking exactly that when I was typing it up.
Pre-Owned purchases help the economy in the long run, but I do feel for the developers losing out on some of the extra pennies. If only Development companies and retail distributors could get together and have it so the developers can get a (very) small cut of the second hand purchase.
There must be a reasonable middle ground without having these "Passports" tossed our way to make up for any potential pre-owned purchases.
There is no such thing as "Too Big" in an Open Fantasy World!
So long as, like, certain areas aren't recycled to a sickening degree of course.
I absolutely agree with the "Zero to Hero" storypath. I too have grown a little sick of that "I'm a farmers' bastard son--oh. No. I'm the only one that can save the planet / universe" beginnings.
"Its a very small number." Reminds me of the initial outbreak of RRoD back then. Either way, willing to replace it with an XBOX is a pretty sweet deal indeed.
Now, I'm worried mine might not be compatible. Oh how I do like my pretty RE5 Red 360, I'd hate to pack it up because of this.
This is looking pretty interesting. Though as do most Final Fantasy titles in recent years--only to disappoint.
I really hope this one doesn't.
So long as Project Cafe isn't too gimmicky, I think it will do well.
An overhaul of Pokemon with the 3DS capabilities is something I really, really hope Nintendo goes for as well.
Personally I have no problem with the FREE GAMES. Particularly because I don't own either of the 5 available.
Yes, finally some truly good progress news from SONY themselves on the matter.
Oh geez, just one more thing that's going to make it hard for some to get off the couch. No longer will need to walk / slide over to your computer for Youtube Funnies.
I fully agree, as long as it's both non-intrusive and/or done tastefully, I don't have any problems with in-game ads.
I can't help but feel I must reserve my joy to read that some portion of the PSN is up and running. Thus far, anytime some sort of "my source / this guy on a forum says" update comes along, SONY has peeked out of the workshop replying "lolno. Still recalibrating the flux capacitors!"
When the game was first announced, I wasn't feeling it at all. The more information and images that have since come to light, have somewhat made me fairly interested.
Square Enix needs to stop tossing out ports, and develop a new entry. Surely if the demand is strong enough for several ports, a new title would be quite reasonable.
But then again.. with my disappointment in many of their recent titles. Would I -really- want them to make a new one?
What a dilemma.
Sure does sound like the direction Bioware is starting to lean towards, sadly.
I also like the inventory management, and the casual banter from NPCs. So long as it's varied enough to not become unbearable.
I'm curious to see how this game presents itself.
