This is not at all surprising to me. When I bought Final Fantasy XIII, they added that "Game Protection" to my purchase without telling me, and then refused to refund it.

Am I the only one who realizes FFXIV is a tiered release game? At launch, you can only go to a few areas and I think there were maybe four storyline quests at most, some of which they have quietly rolled out since then.
FFXIV was never designed to be "OMG COMPLETE GAMEZ ARE HERE!!!111", which is one of the reasons they asked people to hold on reviews for a month. Give it time, no MMO starts without issues.

The PS3 version of the game was pushed back because the PS3 does not have enough RAM to handle the developmental game for the PS3. It's too bad we have to wait until next March, I was looking forward to playing on both the PC and PS3.

You should probably re-order your pre-orders, as this is obviously false. Read the comments before you do something so drastic as that.
As a FFXIV Beta tester and as a FFXI dive-year veteran, I can tell you that this article is blatantly false. Square Enix has no desire to impose such steep penalties in FFXIV, and the fatigue system in question seems unlikely, and unsubstantial if such a feature were implemented. Most of FFXI's actually gameplay was in endgame.
Maybe so, but you have to remember we're going to hit the level cap they implemented pretty quick. I highly doubt SE will raise the cap very much until PS3 version is released.
Even earlier this year it was leaked that Square Enix was making a 360 version was being developed, but that they were hitting roadblocks with Xbox LIVE, and didn't rule out it being released at a future date.
Just to clear the air: Yes Final Fantasy XI Online is on XBOX 360 and you do not need a Gold Membership to play it.
